Our Story

My passion for making paellas is the spark behind Luisita’s Paellas, which is named for my late mom, Luisa, who gave me the inspiration and the love for baking and cooking.  We have a saying in Spain - “Vivir Tu Vida” - Live your life. That was my mom’s motto, and now I’ve embraced it.

On a recent trip to Spain to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary, I was excited to see paellas being prepared as a takeout meal, the same way pizzas are made in America.

It encouraged me to follow my dream and share my love of Spain’s most beloved dish of rice, saffron, vegetables, chicken and seafood. The comforting, one-dish meal has been bringing my family and friends together for years. I’d like to share this simple pleasure with you.
